Who we are

Our Primary Practitioner: Rhea Kim, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac.

Rhea Kim is a licensed acupuncturist in Virginia and Washington, D.C., and nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is dedicated to delivering personalized, holistic care that blends traditional Eastern practices with modern therapeutic techniques.

Rhea’s approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of health concerns to promote long-term healing and overall wellness. She is especially passionate about pain management and physical rehabilitation, inspired by her own experiences recovering from sports-related injuries and car accidents. This personal journey gives her unique insight into conditions such as neck, shoulder, lower back, arm, and knee pain.

Before entering the field of acupuncture and holistic medicine, Rhea worked as a graphic designer. Her creative background contributes to her intuitive, compassionate approach to patient care. She has a special interest in treating chronic pain, headaches, sleep disorders, digestive imbalances, and immune system support, as well as providing guidance for weight management and constitutional wellness.

Rhea also holds certifications in cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling, offering natural, non-invasive treatments to address aging, acne, scarring, and hair loss—supporting both internal health and external radiance.
